A typical golf course consists of eighteen holes. A line includes teeing ground and putting green. Fairway is the distance between teeing ground and putting green. Rough, bunkers, water and other hazards are designed by architecturs.
Two golf courses are never designed as like as two peas because of the difference of geographical surface. Each golf course has a par, which is calculated to the shot by the gross and the total necessary shots of the best player to roll the ball into the pin.
To calculate the gross score in a golf course, each fairway has a par upon its length. There are three different pars. A typical length for a par – three hole is up to 227m, for a par- four hole between 227m- 432m, for a par- five hole over 432m.
